Driver Seat Adjustments
Seat Height Adjuster
Height adjuster lever β raise or lower seat for optimal visibility
Fore/Aft Adjustment
Lift lever β slide seat β release lever to lock. Verify seat is locked before driving.
Seatback Recliner
Grasp side recliner lever β adjust seatback angle β release to lock
Rear Seatback Fold
Press the button integrated in rear seatback to fold forward and expand luggage space
β Always adjust your seat BEFORE starting the engine β never while driving.
Head Restraints
Adjust the head restraint so its centre is approximately level with the occupant's eyes/back of head. Reduces neck (whiplash) injury in rear-end collisions.
- βΈPush head restraint up to raise it
- βΈPress the release button and push down to lower
- βΈTo remove: push fully up then press release button
- βΈNever drive with head restraint removed or in lowest position
Seat Belt Guide
Correct Wearing
- βShoulder belt must cross the chest and shoulder
- βLap belt must fit across the hips, not the abdomen
- βNever place the belt behind your back or under your arm
- βEnsure no twists in the belt before buckling
- βAll passengers must wear seat belts at all times
Pregnant Women
Pregnant women should wear seat belts with the lap portion placed under the bump across the hips, and the shoulder portion between the breasts and over the bump β never across the bump.
SRS Airbag System
Airbags work together with seat belts β not as a replacement. They deploy in fractions of a second during severe collisions.
Driver Airbag (Front)
Integrated into the steering wheel centre
Passenger Airbag (Front)
Built into the dashboard in front of the passenger seat
Side Airbag (if fitted)
In front seat backrest β protects chest/pelvis in side impact
Curtain Airbag (if fitted)
Along roofline β protects front and rear occupant heads in side impact
Child Seat Guide
